Selection Process

Selection Process

  • All submitted stories will be read by employees or affiliates of100 Meter Films and MARZA.
  • All stories will be read by the judges anonymously.
  • A short list of stories will be chosen by the end of 2011.
  • We will send feedback on the stories to the short-listed writers, who will be invited to submit a longer synopsis, based on the feedback.
  • We will chose one story and award a cash prize of 1,000,000 Yen to the winning writer.
  • The cash prize will also be accompanied by an Option Agreement for three years, during which time the story will be developed further.
  • 100 Meter Films and MARZA will be unable to answer any questions regarding the selection.
  • Personal Information will be handled with respect and care and will not be used for purposes other than this competition.
