Shohei Shiozaki

           
 

Business Manager, Director

Shohei Shiozaki was born in Osaka. He studied Filmmaking and Media Studies at San Jose State University and lived in the U.S. for six years. During this time he worked as a co-ordinator and production manager for Japanese crews shooting in the San Francisco area, and wrote and directed a documentary about the experiences of foreign students in the U.S. In 2003 he returned to Japan to join 100 Meter Films.

At 100 Meter Films Shohei has been responsible for overseeing various foreign productions shooting in Japan, including Line Producing ‘Megumi: Until They Took Her Away'. He has also worked in various roles on features and commercials shooting in Japan, and as an AD on Japanese feature films with foreign actors.

In March 2007 he wrote and directed his first short film, which will play the festival circuit later this year.
